Helpful resources to find a qualified dentist to assist you

Posted on February 9, 2013 by will

As with many journeys, with the recent completion of the HealThy Mouth World Summit, we find all the solutions often lead to even more questions.  So it is with oral health.  We have always been firm believers in getting help from a dental professional who has been trained in toxin free, whole body dentistry.  Truly, those of you who have had the pleasure of working with a quality dental professional know how precious an asset they can be!

The well trained dental professional can be a wonderful, trusted ally to assist us along our path to greater oral health.  Unless you were raised with a perfect diet as a child and have been blessed with stunning oral health, most of us are doing some form of ‘catch up’ when it comes to our dental health.  A dentist who is functioning within the paradigm of the role that oral health plays in whole body wellness is a tremendous professional to have on your wellness team while we strive for optimal oral health.

We have complied this list of resources to help you to identify someone who has been trained in toxin free protocols and techniques.  We also strongly urge you to question whatever professional you find, even if they are from the top of this list, to make sure that they meet your personal criteria for a professional assistant to help guide you and your family to greater oral health.

Here’s the first link which is to the database of dentists that are registered with the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology.  When using this search tool, the designations of FIAOMT or AIAOMT are ‘higher’ rankings within the organization.  All these dental professionals are at least aware of the potential toxic impact of many dental materials.

If you are looking for a dentist who has been trained by Dr Hal Huggins, then reach out to the Huggins Alliance to find a dentist within this excellent organization.

The Huggins Alliance does not publicize its list of members trained by Dr Huggins.  To find out more from Huggins Applied Healing, either call toll free 866-948-4638 or fill out this form and they will contact you with dental professionals near you.

The International Academy of Biological Dentistry and Medicine is an interesting collection of not only dental professionals but also chiropractors, medical doctors and naturopathic doctors as well.  The IABDM is committed to integrating body, mind, spirit and mouth in caring for the whole person.

To find a dentist who has been trained to use ozone in their practice, Dr Julian Holmes’ site has a search feature.  Not the most friendly search feature, but you’ll find plenty of dentists listed here who use ozone in their practice.  Here’s the link:

The Holistic Dental Association offers a search feature.  Please always do your own research into the dental professional you choose from these lists.  Just because a dentist has their practice listed in a holistic dental database doesn’t necessarily mean they will be properly trained in non toxic protocols or practice dentistry from the perspective of the whole being.

Ultimately, it is each of our responsibility to interview and question the dental/medical professional prior to consenting to any work in/on our bodies.  This is why we created the handbook, ‘Questions to Ask Your Dentist’, to assist you in the process of knowing what questions to ask the dental professional to determine if they have the training and mindset to assist you and your family to navigate to greater oral health as well as support greater whole being wellness through dentistry.

The handbook, Questions to Ask Your Dentist, is one of the many bonus materials offered as part of the HealThy Mouth World Summit Upgrade package.  To read more about the HealThy Mouth World Summit Upgrade package, including the ‘questions to ask your dentist’ handbook, click here.

If you know of a reputable organization who offers a ‘find a dentist’ search feature who would fit into the thrust of this resource here, please contact us and we will review the database and consider including it in this online resource.

To your health!

Once one finds a Biologic dentist, it is critical to interview he/she with many questions. I went to two Dentists that were supposedly trained by Dr. Hal Huggins and each caused damage and did not care about true healing.
I wish I could find a Dentist that has a soul. I don’t mind paying the 40 thousand dollars that most have asked; but, for God’s sake, I expect to have my teeth functional.
I hope that the science of regrowing teeth is fast approaching.

About 50 percent of dentists in the US are mercury-free. However, only an estimated 10 percent of those fully understand the health risks associated with dental amalgam. You’re encouraged to ask questions of your dentist prior to enlisting his services, to make sure the office is truly adhering to holistic dental practices.

This means before finding a dentist we need to verify all these. If one will have all these qualities then only we should choose him for our treatment. Thanks for sharing these helpful suggestions.Dentist in Miami
