How do I stop gum disease?
We can approach healing our mouths from gum disease, or preventing gum disease in the first place, from two different angles,
~ an ‘in the mouth’ approach and
~ a 'whole body immune support' approach.
This article will detail the 'in the mouth' approach to stopping the damage of gum disease.
First, let’s state what we now know.
Gum disease is caused by specific bad bugs in the mouth.
These bad bugs colonize along and under the gum line.
These bad bugs eat away at gum tissue and cause deepening of gum pockets over time.
The ‘in the mouth’ approach to ending gum disease is straight forward.
To rid the mouth of bad bugs we have to:
1. Disrupt and disorganize the bad bugs. We do this by committing to a consistent oral hygiene program of twice daily brushing and daily flossing.
2. Kill the bad bugs using a safe anti-microbial/anti-bacterial agent.
To increase our ability to stop the destruction in the mouth we have to:
1. Improve our oral hygiene technique.
Here is a video showing how to brush your teeth to reduce gum disease.
2. Improve our oral hygiene products.
Let’s face it. If name brand toothpastes were effective at stopping gum disease would 90% of adults have it?
"How do I improve my oral hygiene products?"
"How will I know if I need more help?"

"By the way, I recently had a dental check up and the dentist could not find any plaque to examine under the microscope. He finally scraped enough and found something but said there were none of the unhealthy bacteria present. I attribute this to the HealThy Mouth Blend.

"I'm a mother of two and a third on the way. Since giving birth and nursing, my teeth have suffered quite a bit I feel super blessed to have stumbled across your website. Thanks for sending me this amazing stuff called the Healthy Mouth blend and the toothbrushes.
I was so excited to use them on my teeth as well as those of my very young developing children! It was amazingly effective at removing plaque buildup at the gum lines and seriously I've never felt my teeth so clean and fresh after just brushing.
I was even more excited when my biological dentist told me he used the same stuff, how cool! I'm ready to order more brushes and the ora blend for my family and an extra to keep in my purse. God Bless you all."
